Dr. Torsten Schaper
Dr. Torsten Schaper studierte Betriebswirtschaft an der Justus Liebig Universität Gießen. In seiner Diplomarbeit beschäftigte er sich mit dem Thema internetbasierter Wertpapierhandel. Die Arbeit wurde mit dem Paul Julius Reuter Innovation Award ausgezeichnet. Anschließend arbeitete er als Berater und Projektleiter in der Finanzbranche. Im Anschluss hat er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter für die Professur für e-Finance gearbeitet und zu „Managing Post-Trading Infrastructures – Regulatory and IT Challenges“ promoviert.
Im Anschluss leitete Herr Schaper fast zehn Jahre die Regulatorischen Analyse der Deutsche Börse. Seit 2014 hat er einen Lehrauftrag an der Goethe-Universität zum Thema „Aktuelle Themen in Wertpapierhandel und -abwicklung“. Aktuell ist er Manager Business Development der Universal Investment-Labs.
