Dr. Kai Zimmermann

Dr. Kai Zimmermann studied Economics Engineering at the Karlsruher Institute of Technology, majoring Finance and IT. In his diploma thesis, Kai Zimmermann analyzed drivers behind Split Credit Ratings and developed a model based on divergent incentives. During his studies, he worked at Allianz Investment Management and United Internet AG. Since May 2011, he was graduate research assistant at our Chair. In September 2015 he completed his dissertation on the topic “Market Efficiency and Safeguards in Fragmented Securities Markets”. Nowadays he is working for the Deutsche Börse Group in the area of Eurex Market Structure & Regulation.
