Jens Lausen received a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Economics and a Master’s degree in Management from Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz. He completed his Master’s degree with a major in finance and graduated best of the year. During his studies he worked as tutor at the chairs of Financial Economics and Banking of Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz and studied a semester abroad at the University of Agder in Norway. Furthermore, Jens Lausen gained professional experience working at R+V Insurance and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Since February 2017, he is a research assistant at the chair of e-Finance and successfully completed his doctoral studies with his dissertation "Market Organization and Investor Protection in Digital Financial Markets" in October 2021.
